As a bilingual problem solver and people lover, I have also been fortunate to have a wide spectrum of interests. I believe those interests and skills have equipped me for success. As a former student athlete I’ve learned the importance of collaboration, discipline and dedication. As a wife and mother, I have further developed my time management, multitasking, and communication skills. Those traits along with my creativity and love for establishing strong relationships fit perfectly with my goal of becoming an electrical and computer engineer.I have found that I thrive in the field of engineering and am excited that my previous hands on experience with tools and practical knowledge as well as my desire to always want to learn makes me uniquely qualified. Electrical and Computer Engineering runs through my blood since my Grandfather and cousin are both electrical engineers as well. After finding out about patents my grandfather wrote for a company who today is an international, multi-billion dollar leader in aerospace, I have sparked a new curiosity and fire within me to strive to lead how he did. I love being a woman in this field where I can contribute my creativity, collaboration and expertise. I look forward to gaining additional experience as I grow within this field and use the skills I’ve acquired to be a successful and integral part of a team and my community.
