Contracts, budgets, procurement, set up, A/V, and programming content kept me busy between lesson plans.Student success data enables us to prepare them to perform in a variety of settings with confidence and professionalism. I tracked and analyzed their performance and adjusted my approach constantly.With so much going on, we had to find a better way to communicate. I personally designed, developed and maintained the choir website which completely transformed the effectiveness of our flow of information to students, parents, and the community. Since the implementation of our website, we watched student success rates explode. We beat our own record, frequently out-performing every school in the state, every year at annual competitions. All because of increased student access to resources.Teaching is truly the profession that prepares you for anything. We lived buzzwords like grit and growth mindset every day.
