Expert knowledge of WordPress theming: HTML, PHP, CSS and SCSS along with working knowledge of HTML5, demonstrated thorough understanding of media queries and responsive design and performed cross-browser and cross-platform testing, hand-coded custom WordPress themes and plugins for new websites based on specifications from internal design and strategy teams, implementation of jQuery and javascript for creating page actions, performed updates and maintenance on existing websites, created wireframes and website design mockups, contributed regularly to the company blog on topics related to my areas of expertise, edited graphic and web designs according to client specifications, demonstrated a mastery of version control software and identified and archived almost 400 inactive websites, audited websites and plugins for active sites and created 150+ repositories for them on Github, built two monthly email newsletters (“The Parthenon Post” and “Unsung Nashville”)

Drawing on over 15 years as a graphic design professional, I approach web development with a clear understanding of how to marry the left brain of the design world with the right brain of coding. At Sprclldr, I specialize in WordPress web development, specifically hand-coded custom-themed websites.

Concept and design of projects as varied as compact disc, digipack and DVD media, book jackets, newsletters, brand identity, print and web advertisements, marketing collateral, cosmetic product packaging and brochures.Clients include The Vanderbilt University Press, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville's Adventure Science Center and East Nashville's Lockeland Springs Neighborhood Association.

Duties included extensive experience in compact disc and DVD packaging, POP, and onesheet design where I drove the design of all music related design projects from conception to execution. I coordinated, art-directed and prop-styled photo shoots. As well, I conducted press checks at local printer facilities, collaborated with freelance designers on client jobs and acted as a liaison between the art department and the service bureaus and printers. Additionally, I handled the concept and design of presentation to promote the firm to high-profile clients and Fortune 500 corporations.
