*As an accounting manager at an award-winning employee assistance program with Perspectives over the past 5 years I improved the bookkeeping system to efficiently track receivables and payables. I redesigned the payroll system to simplify the process of collecting and recording data. *For the past 9 years I have sat on the behavior studies research review board at UIC. Our mandate is to ensure that research complies with federal guidelines. As a community member I advocate for the research participants rights for clear and accurate information on the consent forms.*The experiences of living and working in a foreign culture shaped my ability to work independently and navigate new territories.
