I was the Jacksonville and surrounding Area Sales Representative. My responsibilities were to cultivate new prospects for showing the Beaux and Belles line of custom designed clothing for children. Prospective customers were shown the clothing and I assisted them in designing hand smocked and appliquéd clothing. The outfit was selected, fabric and then details, trim, piping color, etc. Average sales generated per season were $8,000 and annual sales were approximately $16,000 per year. This was a part time position and hostess parties were in the fall and spring.
