I understand the power of leading with your heart and the essential need for strong vision and strategy.As a girl from a small town in California, my “career” goal began about wanting to help people. I neverimagined that my hard work and determination would lead me to some of the most powerful and influential tables in the country. From being on the ground in multiple presidential campaigns, to helping the City of Boston transform, to being on the frontlines of the health care reform debate and implementation of the Affordable Care Act, to fighting to ensure that New Yorkers have equitable health coverage. The audacity of my career goal continues to grow but remains the same today. I put my whole heart in everything I do.
