I began at AIG in their mortgage finance group and was needed in the asset management group after a manager left the firm. As an asset manager, I put together all the necessary annual valuations, budgets and annual reports using Center, O/2 or Pro-Ject modelling programs. Each property had a unique set of challenges. The shopping center in Atlanta, GA needed to be fully re-tenanted, the office building in San Diego needed a strategic leasing plan as an entire building was being vacated. I successfully worked with the local property managers to get new tenants in place and generate targeted returns for AIG.In addition to investment properties in my portfolio, I managed the headquarters of ALICO in Wilmington, DE. I fully renovated all the common areas for ALICO which cost over $1 million. I had to negotiate with ALICO and AIG Real Estate in order to come effectively complete the renovation. National Commercial Property Portfolio; 10 to 15 Assets (Included a 300,000 sf shopping center, 160,000 sf office complex and 450 apartments) Selected and managed leasing agents and property managers nationally and negotiated new tenant leases and renewals Implemented capital improvement programs and tenant improvements Disposed of selected assets after aiding in the portfolio analysis

The Quantum fund was an extremely dynamic place to work. Acquisition analysis was a competitive area and although I was in that group for 6 months, I worked the amount of hours I would have worked in an entire year. I am highly motivated and wanted to do get all my analysis done first and the best in the group. My analysis was scrutinized by a very top level real estate investor (Paul Reichmann) and I had to complete all the market analysis and site visits as well as constructing detailed and thorough investment memorandums. There was quite a bit of internal strife at the company so when acquisitions slowed, I moved to their asset management group and was given a portfolio of office, retail and apartments to manage.
