I started working for this company in September of 2021 as a Sterilization Technician and was transitioned into a Surgical Dental Assistant in February of 2022. In this role I assisted the doctors in implant procedures, tooth extractions ranging from single teeth to full mouth cases, bone grafting and biopsy procedures. My duties in this role includes rotating between handing instruments, maintaining airway support and suctioning, depending on the team rotation in each surgery. This position requires accurately inputting patient health history, electronically sending scripts to our team of providers for each patient and procedure, recording our current inventory of implant supplies and bone grafting material, answering patient questions and concerns on post operative care.
