Beth provided marketing services for a non-profit business development district. Her responsibilities included working with stakeholders to identify and implement marketing strategies.Beth also wrote a monthly newsletter, prepared advertising, and coordinated events designed to increase business and visitors to downtown Long Beach.

Beth coordinated many high-profile events annually for the City, including the annual Halloween event which attracts over 400,000 visitors. Beth developed and implemented a special event permit process which ensured better coordination between the state (ABC, CalTrans), county (fire, sheriffs), city departments, and external event planners.

Beth provided member services, planned networking events, prepared agenda materials, promoted business in the city, and served the Board as interim Executive Director.

Beth moved to a new location every three weeks to perform marketing activities for a performance cast of 120 international people between the ages of 18-26. Beth located host families, performed media interviews and speaking arrangements to ensure ticket sales, and coordinated all logistical arrangements for a stage show which included 22 tons of equipment.
