As Senior Planner and Coastal Engineer at Dewberry, a 2,000 person, $380 million family-owned professional services firm, Beth is responsible for overseeing impact analyses of southeast transportation projects on natural systems, threatened and endangered species, wildlife refuges, historic sites, parks and recreational areas, and the public.Over Beth's 11-year career with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), she served as project manager for major highway projects in the NEPA/NCEPA planning process, overseeing project studies and environmental document preparation completed by private engineering firms.
