Partnering closely with PreSales, I have responsibility for driving the creation and delivery of engaging and relevant learning programs and content that helps contribute to our clients’ successes. Two major skillsets go into how I do my work: learning and development expertise as well as collaborative influence. I’ll explain both.LEARNING & DEVELOPMENTThe learning and development skills I rely upon to succeed in my role include defining learning objectives, creating learning agendas, selecting training modalities, building courses and curricula, facilitation and platform delivery, and gathering and analyzing feedback. Making complex ideas and processes understandable and do-able is my super power!COLLABORATIVE PARTNER-INFLUENCERThe nature of my role in partnering with PreSales Enablement teams around the world means listening, providing feedback, gathering information, and aligning people around a shared vision; that is, serving as a collaborative partner and influencer. In addition, I often work across SAP to gather subject matter experts, leadership support, and critical information to execute and inform my work within the PreSales Enablement function. MY WORK STYLE and APPROACH-My work is to make other people successful, and I do that by listening, being responsive, and remaining curious;-I do what I say I’m going to do – if I say ‘yes’, it’s happening!;-‘Why not’ is my default…and supporting my teams through a blend of creativity, possibilities, and solutions is my version of ‘finding flow’;-The power of great writing to inspire and transform drives me to create compelling content and materials…strategic communication is both a calling and a passion;-I’m a true believer in the power of having a ‘learn it all’ mindset…and it has served me across my roles at SAP and in life.
