The web channel supports over 4MM employee benefit participants providing on-line decision support, enrollment, claims and billing capabilities across multiple insurance products (Life, Dental, Disability, Long Term Care, Critical Illness, Corporate Benefit Funding and others)Responsible for a budget of $25MM and a team of 100-120 in multiple US states, China and India.Accomplishments* Drove additional $30MM in new annual sales through a 2.0 web redesign initiative “Extreme Make Over” ($6M project spend). Offered technology solution to drive sales through a complimentary offline demo capability of the new site which was incorporated into the sales process. The project was awarded MetLife TOPS award as an example of technology innovation that drives business revenues.* Established comprehensive ethical hack testing program across all portals within US Business. Program is based on OWASP best practices.* Delivered $4MM in web enhancements including new decision support, self-service and provider capabilities to support a new TRICARE Department of Defense contract valued at $1.9B in new revenues for the firm.
