The Conflict Center "equips people with practical skills to navigate, transform and embrace everyday conflict.” For over 30 years, The Conflict Center has been providing programs to Denver and throughout Colorado. Through our youth and adult classes and conflict management workshops, we empower individuals to see and use conflict as an opportunity to grow, learn, and create positive change in their lives. We partner with schools to foster a community of inclusion, where students feel safe to be themselves. We shift school culture to build nurturing, positive relationships, and to implement a restorative culture where students are held accountable within the school community, making punitive discipline the exception rather than the norm. We interrupt the school to prison pipeline and provide avenues out of the criminal justice system through restorative justice. The Social Justice Training Institute (SJTI) provides a forum for the professional and personal development of social justice educators and practitioners to enhance and refine their skills and competencies to create greater inclusion for all members of the community.SJTI is a nonprofit and all faculty members serve in a volunteer capacity.

•Plan, organize and manage the annual fundraising campaign in collaboration Monitor effectiveness of regional fundraisingefforts and evaluate programs.•Oversee and implement all fundraising events including corporate and professional dinners, parlor meetings and special events.•Identify,cultivate, build and steward relationships with new and established contributors.•Analyze historic patterns of giving and develop strategies to encourage new gifts and identify new sources of revenue•Directly solicit and close gifts from major prospects •Oversee direct mail campaigns. •Write grants and reports •Oversee donor acknowledgements and support• Staff Development Committee•Cultivate and maintain community relationships and community outreach. •Develop, create, review and revise training activities and support materials (handouts, facilitator guides and PowerPoint presentations) for ADL's national anti-bias education program A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute •Identify and review all educational resources and support materials, including articles and multi-media materials, for inclusion in ADL's anti-bias education programs•Oversee the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) process for 32 regions, for contract facilitators and client organizations, including developing TTT training activities, approving agendas, certifying trainers, reviewing evaluation materials and conducting trainings•Provide on-going programmatic and technical support to 32 regional offices •Provide orientation for new regional education staff members

Responsible for the Region's Education Department, including the following:• Implemented all regional aspects (e.g. marketing, developing agendas, staffing and providing training and follow-up to clients) of the A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute anti-bias education programs and services for K-12 schools, community organizations, campuses, and law enforcement agencies throughout Colorado and Wyoming; program provides direct training to an average of 3,500 participants each year • Oversaw community outreach including marketing materials, resource materials, presentations and proposals• Trained and presented on diversity, bias, and related topics• Supervised two full-time staff members, 22 per diem facilitators, and summer interns• Staffed the Education Committee comprised of 10 lay leaders • Managed $100,000 department budget • Advised and collaborated with community and youth organizations focused on equity and bias• Represented ADL nationally and internationally, including international Train-the-Trainer; Partnered with law enforcement on anti-bias and community policing concerns, including creation and oversight of Colorado law enforcement anti-bias training curriculum in collaboration with the state Attorney General's office; training has been provided to over 10,000 officers
