My husband Andy started the company over 17 years ago after being in the commercial construction business since 1984. I was very pregnant with our second child, working as an office broker at Cushman & Wakefield, and was a little nervous about starting a construction company from scratch. But we had a lot of faith in our abilities, along with hard work and determination. We take a lot of pride in building relationships with our clients and we are fortunate to have them in our lives. 17 years later I'm proud to say we are a $40 million construction firm that still feels like a family firm. Each day I get to talk about our projects that include medical office buildings and surgical centers, high end office buildouts, aviation projects (flight schools and hangars), and ground up projects. I own 8 locations in Florida and still oversee the operations team. I'm blessed to have an amazing tribe of support people who make it easy for me to focus on my role at A.D. Owens. This franchise was also the perfect choice for me since it combines commercial real estate and the salon industry together. Phenix Salon Suites leases individual salon suites to salon professionals providing them with the opportunity to own and operate their own business. We have over 300 salon professionals within our locations and it's an honor to assist them in their journey.
