Testing Facilitator
The Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx-UP) grant serves to scale-up SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) testing to Latinx communities throughout the state. We collaborate with multiple counties and work with community organizations to create testing sites that have the potential to increase COVID-19 testing access and reach for a significantly underserved population that is vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2 transmission and who is at increased risk for severe COVID-19 symptoms. I provide key coordination and support for COVID-19 testing events associated with the RADx-UP initiative. This position is be responsible for HIPAA compliance, facilitating sample collections via self-administered nasal swab, ensuring collection and completion of accompanying intake data, and assisting with transport or mailing of samples for processing.
