I both led our Wisconsin based recruiting team and founded/supported Project Patriot nationally.Project Patriot is our company-wide Veteran recruiting program. We partner with local and national organizations, military bases, and schools to effectively target military talent. We also work with our clients to serve as advocates for those who served and actively both market Veteran talent to their organizations and develop programs for our clients to become more Veteran-ready employers. Internally, I developed a Veteran recruiter training program, company-wide delivery plan, and led our Project Patriot recruiting team nationally. As our Recruiting Team Lead in Milwaukee, I:• Trained and mentored entry level recruiting staff on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and relationship management• Helped set monthly and quarterly goals for each member of our recruiting team• Advised others on career path and developed paths for those looking to further develop their skills• Located and recruited potential IT talent utilizing referrals, job postings, internet searches, careers fairs, networking events, and college resources• Screened and placed candidates according to position requirements utilizing phone and internal interviews, reference / background checks, and technical screens• Reviewed, critiqued, revised resumes and coach candidates through the interview process• Fostered and maintained contractor / consultant relationships through weekly correspondence, payroll assistance, monthly lunches, and constant client relations
