Bette Davis grew up in a U.S. Army family and so lived throughout the world as a “third-culture kid.” She earned a B.A. in education from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in adult education from Indiana University, along with certificates in Ken Blanchard and Langevin training.As a consultant and trainer, Bette has worked in North America, Europe, and Asia, serving such organizations as Alcoa, Coca-Cola, Cummins, Delphi, Ford, Georgia Pacific, the Indiana University School of Medicine, Ingersoll-Rand, Prudential Intercultural, Right Associates, and Rolls-Royce. She is an active member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research.Besides providing intercultural training for both adults and children, Bette has designed and implemented management training and assisted companies with their outplacement and career development needs, including individual counseling, seminars, job development, and career center operation. She is the author of user’s manuals for nationally distributed software packages.Bette has been active in community organizations and has chaired the board of a large HMO. She lives in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, with her husband and business partner, Kenneth W. Davis. They have two adult children and a grandchild.
