Within less than five (5) years, CBC was considered to be the most professional company in its field, with offices maintained in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Rome, Sydney and Munich. CBC's annual revenues exceeded $35 million and Smith was named by Entertainment Weekly as one of Hollywood's 100 Most Powerful People.CBC's entree' into the film industry was considered revolutionary on many fronts. CBC prided itself for staying on the cutting edge of the film guaranty business, and its operating policies and procedures, along with comprehensive legal documents created by CBC and its lawyers, continue to serve as a model in the film industry for both old and new entrants in the field.
