This is Betty, a talented and quirky Chinese girl who loves travelling, socialising and getting to know the world. She studied at the University of Edinburgh, graduated in 2022 with a degree in Sociology and is still studying Environmental protection and management at Edinburgh.Due to family connections, I have spent a lot of time travelling between the UK and China and have tried many interesting and challenging jobs and things.I have worked as a salesperson in a Lexus flagship shop and with my good speaking and flexible communication skills, I was able to balance the relationship with my colleagues and maintain contact with customers very well and I was very impressed by them. Through this internship experience, I learnt how to improve sales value, control costs, expand sales in my area, actively achieve sales volume targets and increase the market share of my products in accordance with the company's marketing strategy.I then joined SAIC Group as an auditor in the finance department. During that work, I was responsible for the security and normal operation of the corporate online banking, and for the payment, issuance and collection of fees due from the subordinate companies. This included, but was not limited to, collecting information on the company's business activities, capital dynamics, operating income and expenses, analysing and making recommendations, and reporting regularly to the General Manager. In this job, I learnt how to work in the workplace, how to communicate with my superiors and do corresponding financial statements and analysis.In the last summer before the epidemic, I was lucky enough to be involved in investment banking, where I learnt how to manage large assets and how to do basic asset calculations and operations. During my internship, I focused on investment analysis, doing risk analysis and summary books for some of the firm's smaller investments.At university level, I was involved in the Edinburgh Festival of Arts and its organisation. In the Edinburgh SFU, I worked as a member of the catering team, although only serving simple drinks to the guests during the festival. However, the team that I built in a short period of time promoted my ability to work in a group and manage upwards, giving ideas and behaving positively.
