Enigma founder Bev Wilson was first employed as an engraver by Halstan & Co Ltd. On joining the company in 1965, he received his training in music origination and went on to work on many publications for, amongst others: the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music; the Grove Dictionary of Music & Musicians and the Verdi series for Chicago University Press.Since setting up Enigma, Bev has been awarded certificates for Graphic Excellence by the American Music Publishing Association for his work on various Oxford University Press publications, as well as receiving the MPA's Paul Revere award in both 2008 and 2009.
