I am a passionate, experienced and accomplished professional with considerable experience gained working across a range of safeguarding roles with vulnerable people across a variety of sectors. Currently, I am working for Schools Choice as Safeguarding Learning Quality Assurance Manager. Prior to this, I have held roles as a Lecturer on Child Development and Safeguarding and as Manager of Child Development & Work-Based Learning.I am currently studying for my masters in Philosophy, religion and ethics. Throughout my career to date, I have shown the ability to effectively manage the development and implementation of safeguarding strategies, working proactively to monitor and review practices and improve them whenever possible. I have gained expert knowledge and understanding of all legislation and guidelines and have displayed a commitment to compliance, promoting cultural awareness at all times. I have a proven track record in the delivery of positive outcomes in the best interests of vulnerable people while also while working within business objectives to streamline work, optimise efficiency and produce cost savings.I am an experienced leader and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working effectively with a diverse range of people inside and outside of professional environments, whether liaising with local agencies or preparing reports for senior management. I am equally capable working in a team or alone, managing workload effectively to consistently deliver within deadlines and budgets, and have shown great competency in the coordination of training programmes to promote safeguarding issues to others.
