I have worked for the NHS for 40 years my current stance is ensuring equality and tackling discrimination as a priority for the psychological safety of our patients and staff. Embedding a sustainable cultural change is imperative on this journey, I wear many hats at UHB, I am also Co Chair of the BAME staff network at UHB, I also actively work with the Freedom to Speak up Guardian as a confidential contact, I am a previous union steward representing nurses for the RCN, along with other external commitments. My passion for fairness runs through my veins my ambition is to ensure we de- bias systems and processes collectively. I would describe myself as a radical activist who will fight for all thing fair!!
