About AbacusBean AbacusBean was born using a play on words typically associated with accountants - or bean counters as they are sometimes known.AbacusBean was set up in late 2018 by Bev to enable her to follow her dreams of running her own practice. Having both small and large accountancy firm practice, Bev has created AbacusBean to match her customer focused approach. Running her own practice allows a more autonomous approach with clients meaning she can put their needs unquestionably first. Our ethos is to look after our people, as they in turn look after our clients. We believe if we do this well everything else works out in the wash. A very simple approach that has set us in good stead - taking us to a team of 14 and over 450 clients in 3 and a half years. We work with clients in Teesside, the wider North east, Manchester, London, Cambridge; as well as overseas - New York, Delaware, Canada, France, Spain, Dubai to name a few.
