About AbacusBean AbacusBean was set up by Bev Goodall in 2018 to enable her to follow her dreams of running her own practice. Having both small and large accountancy firm practice, Bev has created AbacusBean to match her customer focused approach. Running her own practice allows a more autonomous approach with clients meaning she can put their needs unquestionably first. After much deliberation and a huge leap of faith, Bev stepped away from a senior position in a nationwide accountancy practice to take on this new challenge. AbacusBean was born using a play on words typically associated with accountants - or bean counters as they are sometimes known. AbacusBean is something new. Transparent with our pricing; you know up front what you will pay and flexible options for payment, even offering 12 monthly instalments, help with your cashflow. Our approach is to work with you, helping guide you through the financial minefield; you are not on the clock for each and every phone call. In fact quite the opposite, we want to stay in regular contact, as that is what helps us identify any issues you may have and foresee planning opportunities/problems before they happen. We are proactive, not reactive. If you don’t understand what your accountant does or why they do it, speak to us.
