I am a qualified in-house lawyer, currently handling all legal, compliance and regulatory matters as the CCLO of an innovative gaming company with a focus on gamification, and also form part of the Management Team. I am involved in all gambling and gaming matters, all corporate matters, and am main point of contact with the gambling authorities and other authorities in various markets including the MGA, UKGC, SGA, IDPC, MFSA, FIAU and any other departments whether this relates to taxation, Licensing and employment. I consider my area of expertise to be understanding the operation of gaming in regulated markets and obtaining relevant licensing within jurisdictions such as Malta, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Spain, Romania, Germany and Ireland, and also participating in ongoing developments in unregulated markets and giving advice as to strategies to fulfill goals in these diverse jurisdictions. Im particularly experienced also in contract drafting and negotiations and corporate services, including company incorporation, licensing, IP, investment and tax-related matters. I am also involved in all compliance matters such as responsible gambling, the money laundering sector and data protection/GDPR, and handles any relating audits including information security and other technical compliance matters. I previously held the Head of Legal & Compliance role for LeoVegas Gaming in Malta and have held several roles including director, company secretary, key official and MLRO, leading a team of around 18 employees consisting of lawyers, compliance officers, tech compliance personnel and information security officers for this company and its sister companies such as Authentic Gaming with a focus on live streaming products. I have also been involved in the handling of several mergers and acquisitions for the LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group including the addition of Royal Panda.
