Program Coordinator For Child Nutrtion Programs
CurrentResearch, develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate all nutritional and educational programs and training. Coordinate and sponsor regional training in all areas of program operations for Child Nutrition Program staff.Adept at overseeing regional training initiatives for Child Nutrition Program staff and providing technical assistance to clients in alignment with evolving nutrition policies and guidelines.Collaborates with Education Service Center Regions (ESC) to ensure equitable training specialist availability statewide and facilitates the development of impactful statewide training programs.Demonstrates effective program management, encompassing budget maintenance, purchasing, financial management, market trend awareness, and adherence to Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines.Maintain assigned program budgets.Serve as a representative of ESC 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public.Serves as the designated Texas Department of Agriculture Lead (TDA) for the Child Nutrition Program, providing supervision to staff with a focus on employment recommendations, performance evaluations, and professional growth.Coordinates Administrative and Procurement Reviews for various institutions, including school districts, private schools, child and adult care centers, and residential childcare institutions.Actively participates in national and state staff meetings, special committees, and workgroups as directed by TDA, USDA, and ESC.
