Provide leadership in the response to individual patient behaviors, including aggressive outbursts, utilizing appropriate nursing interventions to promote and maintain a therapeutic milieu while decreasing use of Seclusion and Restraint. Ensure thorough and prompt submission of verbal and written reports as required daily. Provide daily staff assignments and prioritization of duties, implementing conflict management skills as required. Submit monthly staff schedule and yearly unit vacation schedule to SNC. Responsible for development and provision of staff education on a monthly basis. Responsible for primary patient care, interventions and education. MANDT instructor for facility.

As a Clinician A I had direct supervisory duties for assigned CNA, LPN, and RN staff.In the specialized areas of Adolescent, Forensic, Extended Rehab, and Acute Admissions I functioned in many roles including Primary Nurse, Medication Nurse, and staff nurse.
