Command Defense Logistics Agency, Troop Support, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, in a jointly staffed major subordinate command of the Defense Logistics Agency with annual sales over $21B. The mission of Defense Logistics Agency, Troop Support is the management and operational execution for worldwide supply and procurement of clothing & textiles, medical material and equipment, subsistence, construction & engineering equipment, and industrial hardware in support of DoD activities, other government agencies and foreign governments. Work force includes 2,362 civilian personnel, 76 active duty and 41 reservists of all military services. Coordinates all administration and logistics support for the task force and plans for eventual post-pandemic transition of DOD support roles back to HHS.

Chief of Staff for Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan (CSTC-A), a forward deployed three star command in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel and NATO Resolute Support. Leads a Joint, DoD Civilian and Coalition Staff and synchronizes the efforts of 13 uniquely focused branches and directorates with 12 U.S and NATO General and Flag Officers and Senior Executive Civilians. CSTC-A is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of over $5 billion in Afghanistan Security Forces Fund and donor nation contributions for the 352,000 personnel in the Afghanistan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF). Special emphasis on force protection; personnel management for an 1,150 man joint and coalition headquarters; external oversight coordination with DoDIG, SIGAR and GAO; key leader engagements with Congressional leaders, the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy (OSD-P), the Joint Staff, and CENTCOM; special emphasis on planning efforts.

Command the 407th Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB); integrating, synchronizing and delivering strategic logistics for Army and Joint Forces within assigned area of responsibility; regionally aligned with USSOUTHCOM. Direct the operations of 4 Army Field Support Battalions, 14 Logistics Readiness Cetners and manage a workforce of 5,600 personnel (Military / DA Civilian / Contractors) operating across 14 states to include OCONUS operations in Puerto Rico and Honduras. Serve as Army Materiel Command's "Face to the Field"; supports all active, Reserve Component and National Guard units within the AO including III Armored Corps, 1CD, 1AD, 1ID, 4ID, 13ESC, 3ESC, 3d CR, 6 ARNG DIVs, and over 50 separate brigades. Synchronize deployment support, distribution and sustainment for the Army Materiel Enterprise in support of the Warfighter's SRM cycle to include providing materiel support, installation level logistics, Combat Training Center support, Mob/Demob, and force projection support. Manage execution of over 50 contracts and an annual budget in excess of $300M.

Direct logistics synchronization and execution of materiel management in support of US Army forces in the Pacific. Focus areas include Pacific Pathways enterprise concept of support, Army watercraft system management, maintenance and modernization efforts, Army structure disposition management for major end items, munitions management, supply chain management and Army Working Capital Fund audit readiness for all tactical and installation Supply Support Activities in the Pacific, and innovation efforts to include Industry and Academia Forums. Manage a staff of over 150 personnel to include 40 field grade Commissioned and Warrant officers.

Author a research project for the United States Army on Theater Distribution and optimizing supply chain operations. Serve on Hoover Institution's Military History and Foreign Policy Working Groups. Engage with academic, business, media and community leaders to share the Army story.
