I am working as LCF & DCA India leader in applied mechanics team. Managing team of qualified engineers responsible for fatigue life prediction, planning endurance test, analysis of duty cycle data, blade design, optimization using FEA tools. Key Responsibilities: • Compressor and Turbine wheel design and development of turbochargers. • Plan and monitor endurance test for fatigue life prediction. • Statistical data analysis from test results using Weibull techniques.• Data analysis of logged duty cycle from field to predict durability and reliability of the turbocharger.• Investigate field failures to determine root cause, provide quick solution by analysis & testing methods.• Guide and advise engineers in aerodynamics and applied mechanics to get optimize blade designs. • Collaborate with global teams - design, materials, test labs, plant engineering, suppliers to identify process and design improvements to continuously improve the product and minimize the test cost. • Identify the gaps in the simulation and testing, develop analysis method that can provide more accurate results to minimize dependency on testing and improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities:• Responsibility for rules and tools development in applied mechanics and use of simulation to support product development in turbochargers. • Develop simulation-based product design methods to reduce testing cost. • Global Applied mechanics SME for compressor and turbine wheel. • Responsible for quality results and on-time delivery. • Resolving day to day technical challenges by team members. • Resource planning and work scheduling.• Collaborate with global project Leader and functional leaders to identify and develop mythologies critical to business. • Coach and guide local and global teams on FEA and standard analysis work.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform Finite Element Analysis for various components and assemblies.• Develop new simulation methodologies by working closely with global team.• Develop an Optimization methodology to improve productivity and minimize iterative work. • Perform linear, non-linear, modal, contact analysis for turbocharger components.• Develop road map and future development for compressor stage. • Resource planning and work scheduling

I worked as a Senior Stress Analyst and supported Rolls-Royce Compressor SCU team. I was closely working with the Rolls Royce, Derby U.K gas turbine applied mechanics team. Key Responsibilities:• Compressor wheel design and development for Gas Turbine Engines.• Linear and Nonlinear analysis for rotor and stator blades of Low and High-pressure axial compressor as per the certification standards of Rolls-Royce.• Linear and Vibration analysis to assist the HCF, LFC and Creep risk for compressor blades.• Expertise on Steady state & dynamic and linear/Non-linear Analysis of mechanical components• Coach and mentoring new team member and resolving day to day technical challenges. • Review the analysis work and report and ensure RFT and ORD of the project. • Define the scope of the work, estimate the time and cost, manage resource.

I was working as a Mechanical Engineer in CAE department. I performed a variety of FEA for CFM gas turbine engine by working closely with team in France.Key Responsibilities:• Developed 2D Axi-symmetric analysis approach for axial compressor rotor and stator assembly. • Non-linear contact analysis for fan blade. • Static, Modal and Dynamic analysis for fan blade and disk of CFM-56 engine.• Contact analysis of front cone- rear cone assembly.

I worked here as a trainee engineer in CFD department on combustion chamber of “Kaveri” engine.
