Taking care of Onsite engineering support and being a part of GE Transportation offshore development center for QuEST Global.Onsite Engineering Responsibilities Include:- Engine model building, calibration, and performance parameters prediction.- Burn rate calculation from measured cylinder pressure trace.- Gas exchange processes analysis.- Turbocharger selection.- DOE analysis and optimization of engine performance parameters.- Altitude study, power derate table generation, and max power equation development based on multi-dimensional DOE approach.- Combustion modeling and emissions prediction.- Integrated simulation of different sub-systems including engine, fuel injection, cooling.- Use of controllers and sensors.- Measured data quality check.

Thesis work aims in development of detailed simulation model of a fuel injection system using GT-Fuel a dedicated package by GT-Suite for fuel injection simulations.This work would result in development,analysis and evaluation of the system based on simulation results.
