Being part of ASX 100 and a global leader in international student placement services and provider of IELTS- International English Language Testing Systems in more than 80 countries of the world, IDP Education is truly a global company. Currently, head global financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, where primary responsibility is to deliver strategic annual financial budgets and rolling forecasts. Play a pivotal role in preparing regular, precise and thorough information for Boards, Investors and global leadership teams and attending Board meetings in supporting capacity. Scope of responsibility spans the company’s global footprint of 80+ IDP owned and 3P countries. Notably, successfully led a strategic response team (finance) for defending profitability during pandemic, supporting in raising equity and facilitating the rebound and accelerated growth post-pandemic, resulting in a 5yr. CAGR from FY18 to FY23 of +15% in revenue and +24% in EBIT.  Additionally, serving as the CFO for the Global Finance Capability Centre (GCC) located in Gurgaon, India. In this capacity, I oversee the entire gamut of financial processes including accounting, business intelligence and planning, governance, and financial integration of business acquisitions. Providing informed and authoritative inputs impacting performance and suggesting measures to positively influence financial outcomes. Played a pivotal role in the conceptualisation and scaling up of this function, initially four countries in FY14 and now evolved to support entire IDP-owned global footprint of more than 30 countries.

IDP Education is a world leader in international education services providing student placement services, English language testing, English language teaching, digital marketing, and data insights. As the regional CFO for South Asia / North America & UK region, I was responsible for P&L management, financial control, and risk management for 8 countries in the South Asia region. I supported exponential growth and expansion of the region resulting in 7yr. CAGR from FY11 to FY18 of +27% in revenue and +31% in EBIT. Regional revenue contribution to the group revenue expanded from 17% in FY11 to 30% in FY18 and EBIT from 9% to 33%.Transitioned region’s 3P operations in India (IELTS), Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to company owned operations which was key catalyst in region’s growth in this period.Accelerated digital transformation by being chief architect of India’s IT platform of candidate registration and test centre management, developing service delivery applications for GCC and global database application for subsidiaries governance management.

• Played a very crucial role of being Delphi India Treasurer and Corporate Controller and keep Delphi secure in terms of its Cash liquidity and credit lines when Global Delphi filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and role in reducing Delphi India Exposure to Delphi Corp Global Credit Lines and brought in local credit Lines and local Indian Banks in Relationship Web.• CFO responsibilities for Powertrain Division (Global Manufacturing site for Delphi for Fuel Handling System and Gas emission systems with customers like Tata, Suzuki, TVS, Honda, Mahindra etc and revenue base of $20Mln). • Helped Powertrain Division in successful Financial turnaround from negative Operating Income Margin of 7% to positive 5% margin due to better commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers, Cost Containment efforts and better commercially positive business wins• Awarded “Green Belt” in six sigma process related to improvement in working capital management which resulted in $192K saving in 2006 and 2007. • Stabilized and developed Finance Function at Delphi India Corporate and closed major audit issues.

Responsibilities:• Responsible for Financial Planning – Annual Operating Plan, Yearly Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts for South Asia covering India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and evaluation of Trade and Consumer Promo financials.• Managed MIS reporting which covered Sales, Gross Margin, Trade & Marketing, spend, Commercial fixed Costs, P&L, Balance Sheet, Industrial and Commercial P&L on monthly basis. • Prepared monthly Regional Balance Sheet and P&L Review, Normalized P&L Generation and Reporting and follow-up on all material movements against Financial Plan. • Managed all the International MIS regarding Flash Financials, Actual, Plan and Forecast Financials, Management Letters, KPI, Cause of Change Analysis, ROI, Sales Variance AnalysisAchievements: • Prepared Internal Control Manual for Commercial Regions which helped to bring uniformity in Control Environment at Divisional level.• Developed Countries Macro Economic Analysis, Reckitt Benckiser Per Capita Per Category Per Country wise Analysis to unearth Opportunities to increase Mkt. Share and Penetration.
