I was part of the Market Data team at Barclays. I lead a team of 5 developers and was responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of critical functional requirements. In addition to leading and managing team, I was also responsible for designing architecture of our application and implementing ultra low latency, realtime, streaming, lock-less, high throughput, scalable, distributed market data plants which can subscribe to realtime market data updates for more than ~100000 instruments. I am hands on with almost all of the industry standard APIs for subscribing to market data like REUTERS EMA api, Bloomberg DL WS API and EXEGY XCAPI API.

I was part of the AtlasRisk team after completing my graduate program at Barclays. I was responsible for implementing and contributing to back-end micro-services with emphasis on scalability and resilience. Tech stack that I got hands on experience in is : Oracle Coherence, Apache Camel, Google Guice, Google Protobuf etc. I also got exposure and in depth understanding of various Risk metrics like VaR, Greeks like Delta, Vega, Gamma etc.

For the first 6 months I was part of the AtlasRisk team which is the Risk management platform for Equity Derivatives at Barclays Investment Bank. For the next 6 months I was part of the Sales Data Management team which owned data management application for Sales desk at Barclays Investment Bank
