Our agency has grown to be the largest independent advertising agency in the Washington D.C. area with over 80 employees. During this period of growth I sought out opportunities to expand my knowledge and apply my talents. In 2006 our agency moved to our new 20,000 sq. ft. facility. I viewed this as a opportunity to apply my talents to this mission by; working with the architect to ensure the floor plan fit our workflow, the design and build of our datacenter, ensuring our current and future electrical requirements were addressed, acquiring voice and data connectivity, securing the cabling contractor, layout and purchasing of our systems furniture and coordinating all needs between the general contractor and our agency enabling us to stay on schedule. Our new office was a success boosting productivity and increasing sales. It was also featured in a local architectural magazine “Washington Spaces” as a bold and bright space that communicated the growth of our agency.

I joined Merrick Towle, then a 11 person agency, as Studio Manager. As they grew I did what was needed to guarantee the growth of our agency. Merrick Towle was 44 employees strong at this point and I was responsible for: •Strategic Planning, anticipate and research technologies to boost productivity •Disaster Recovery, ensure the company’s data for quick recovery on any given situation •Procurement, secure the best prices for equipment, parts, supplies and programs •Testing, insure equipment and programs function properly •Training, help employees understand programs and technologies •Outsourcing, find the right help or training when it is needed •Administrate; telephones, hand helds, e-mail, firewall, remote access, print servers, file servers, ftp server, application servers and digital asset management system •Preparation and maintenance of all equipment, Macintosh or Windows.

Handled design and production on many assorted projects. Clients served, W.B. Doner, Eisner & Associates, Fast & Associates, Britches Great Outdoors, The Blum Group, Maleson Advertising and Graphic Detail.

Designed and produced art and copy layouts for materials to be presented by local and national visual communications media; magazines, newspapers, brochures and television.
