The DIRCYBERFOR supports the air component commander with senior leader perspective and guidance on planning, development, integration, and employment of cyberspace capabilities for air component operations. Facilitates synchronization of efforts to provide cyberspace capabilities to achieve JFC objectives and serves the commander in four primary roles: 1) principal advisor for cyberspace operations; 2) advocate for cyberspace integration with all domain operations, and; 3) focal point to monitor and assist with cyberspace authority coordination, mission alignment and staffing activities supporting cyberspace requirements, and 4) focal point for planning of theater-level crisis action, adaptive, and exercise communications requirements. Also served as a FEMA Regional Director for the National Security Emergency Preparedness (NSEP) Directorate. Organized, trained and equipped a mission ready force of Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officers (EPLOs) to facilitate the full spectrum of Air Force capability in planning for or conducting all-hazard emergency response, National Special Security Events (NSSE) and Special Event Assessment Rating (SEAR) events. Provided outreach to Air Force installations and interagency partners to communicate the importance of the Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) mission and the constraints under which support is provided.

Led 106 Military, Contractors and Civilians supporting 6 Numbered Air Forces, 35 Wings, and Combat Air Force wide Cyber Operations. Planned, programmed and executed $788M annual budget supporting Air Combat Command Cyber Lead Command and Enterprise Information Technology capabilities. Developed cyber policies, concepts, strategies, and guidance to organize, train and equip over 93k warfighters and Airmen. Oversaw manpower, Site Activation Task Force, training, and Global Force Management activities supporting over 23k cyber professionals. Responsible for the execution of five Enterprise Information Technology Portfolios, 34 Air Force and Space Force Programs worth $1.5 Billion per year. Evaluated service proposals for Air Force strategy and mission alignment; ensured proposals met mission requirements. Organized, Trained, and Equipped Cyber forces in DoD Information Network Operations and Defensive Cyber Operations across 11 Major Commands. Advised senior leaders in the development of strategy and policies. Represented the Air Force in Department of Defense Working Groups. Executed Risk Management Framework and Chief Information Officer support securing a $1.2B Air Force Information Network with 1.3K information systems and 357 base enclaves AF-wide. Developed manpower requirements and stood up a 2 branch 24-person division. Led the transfer of Cyber-Security and Enterprise Approving Official functions from Air Force Space Command to Air Combat Command. Facilitated cyber education and the stand-up of Air Combat Command Staff cyber capabilities. Primary A6 Action Officer for multi-directorate working group overseeing planning for cyber lead command transfer from Air Force Space Command. Advised A6 Director on issues & informed position on topics related to Air Combat Command assuming cyber lead & 24/25 Numbered Air Force merger. Coordinated with Air Force Space Command and subordinate staffs to establish relationships and processes to assume lead command functions.

Deployed to lead operations and maintenance of CENTCOM Forward Headquarters systems supporting deployed operators in the Central Command Area of Responsibility. Maintained over 1,500 computer and phone systems, and 5 operations networks in a hot site status ready for contingency operations.

Led a crew of 127 Joint and Bi-national multi-service personal, civilians and contractors operating, monitoring and reporting on cyberspace operations and enterprise communications systems supporting joint and combined homeland defense and natural disaster recovery operations across the NORAD and United States Northern Command Area of Responsibility guaranteeing mission assurance. Directed command and control of four Cyber Protection Team assessments identifying system deficiencies and raising awareness to senior leaders denying adversary cyber access. Served as a watch officer responsible to advise the Command Center Director on proper employment of communications assets and cyber defense strategies in support of Homeland Defense, Defense Support of Civil Authorities, and Theater Security Cooperation. Oversaw the NORAD and United States Northern Command Network Operations Center and General Officer/Flag Officer Communications Support Team supporting over 4K multi-service, bi-national and inter-agency personnel to include 20+ Senior Leaders. Guaranteed integrity and availability of network resources to over 4,000 multi-service, inter-agency and foreign personnel.

Led an office of four military and six US and Japanese civilians directing the integration and management of Japan net-centric information systems supporting 50K+ coalition warriors. Directed the Defense Information Systems Agency's C4I plans and support for United States Forces Japan (USFJ) contingency operations and exercises. Technical advisor to USFJ Communications director. Provided executive-level oversight and coordination of $3.2M in Foreign Military Sales to the Japanese Ministry of Defense for bilateral Command and Control systems.

Led 250 military, civilians, and contractors to develop, implement and sustain 30+ command and control, and Major Command unique Information Technology systems. Tracked and ensured software development and Mobility Air Forces network security compliance against USCYBERCOM and Air Force NETOPS standards. Served as the MAJCOM liaison to US Transportation Commands Communications Director and Air Mobility Commands (AMC) Communications Squadrons; oversaw AMC's $337M enterprise network. Oversaw operations and maintenance of Air Mobility Command mission systems. Led staff actions for 640 group personnel responsible for building, enhancing, operating, and maintaining base Command and Control systems. Prepared correspondence and documentation for commander release. Appointed action officers to complete unit tasks and monitored all unit task suspenses. Relayed commander's guidance to unit personnel, ensuring compliance with staff taskings and advising on special projects. Oversaw network management for systems supporting USTRANSCOM, HQ AMC, 18 AF, 618 TACC, AFCA, 375 AW, and 66 tenant units services by the Scott AFB Network Control Center. Planned, scheduled, performed cost analysis, and directed implementation of technical solutions for network information technology and National Security Systems requirements documents. Configured network infrastructure equipment and maintained network connectivity to the $36M Scott AFB metropolitan Area network. Completed required documentation to maintain configuration management of network equipment.

Led a hand selected team to provide executive-level communications support to 55th Wing, USSTRATCOM and Air Force Weather Agency senior leaders consisting of 18 executive-level customers (0-6 & above) and support staff of over 72. Planned and coordinated telephone and network support for major conferences supporting visiting executive-level customers. Engineered network and telephone solutions, helped users define requirements and coordinated software/hardware troubleshooting for executive-level users. Led the Communications Control Center directly responsible for over $30M in assets supporting 10,000 customers. Directed network operations for the largest wing in Air Combat Command (ACC) to include server administration, infrastructure, security, and customer support. Executed daily communications tasking orders from the ACC Network Operations Security Center. Responsible for ensuring network configuration adherence to DoD standards.
