For the last 5+ years I've been working at SolarWinds, focusing on the SaaS based offerings as a product expert, transitioning from an individual contributor role to a Senior Sales Engineer. During this time I greatly expanded my technical industry knowledge around a variety of topics especially APM and Logging practices, eventually growing to concepts around containerization and "Observability" verses simply monitoring. Previously I've worked at Vyopta Inc. They are a company focusing on providing analytics for customers' Unified Communications environments. Their product empowers customers to monitor and optimize their entire video conferencing and collaboration environment as well as improve performance, encourage employee adoption, and ensure they get the most from their video investments. Before that I was an Enablement Services Manager for Dynatrace, assisting their customers with a variety of tasks ranging from performing technical scoping activities to ensure right sized customer environments as well as scoping focused on topics for delivery of Dynatrace services. During my time as a project coordinator, from August 2012 - March 2014, I became interested in learning more about project management and took a formal training to prepare for PMP certification.I am interested in learning about and working with as many new computer technologies as I am able to, now and in the future. Especially those pertinent to application development, virtualization, cloud based computing networks, big data, hardware and application performance. Since I began working at Vyopta, I have been learning a great deal about Unified Communications environments both from a technical perspective as well as the very tangible business impacts an underperforming UC deployment has on a more and more commonly distributed workforce.I am a graduate of the University of Michigan. I completed my degree in the Program in the Environment, B.S., in the college of Literature, Science, and Arts in 2010. I am passionate about the environment and all it's disciplines as it relates to policy, education, justice, engineering, and new technologies being developed.
