My broad background and experience is in geography, ecology, and forestry. My experiences have focused on understanding the historical, current, and future temporal and spatial influences of climate, natural disturbance, and human activities on the earth's surface, specifically the temperate forests of North America. Through collaboration, I work to leverage a combination of field measurements, inventories, and geospatial technology (GIS and Remote Sensing) in delivering temporal and spatial trends on the use of our natural resources across different scales. I always look to new opportunities for collaboration and the use of new technology that can facilitate, streamline, and minimize ageing field and office workflows in order to make for a more efficient and productive work environment.
