Leads Operators and O&M Technicians in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant.Assists Project Manager in a supervisory capacity in leading, supervising, organizing, scheduling and participating directly with other project staff to perform proper operation of all on site equipment and process control functions of the wastewater treatment plant.Schedule workflow for proper operation of the facility and in concert with maintenance staff when required.Coordinates and works with maintenance staff on preventive and corrective maintenance functions.Supervises, and trains, subordinate operators with daily tasks, evaluating plant, and employee performance.Ensure conformance to safe work practices in the field and employing process control strategies that optimize plant performance in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements.laboratory analyses required for proper oversight of plant process, review and interpret analytical data and inputting for the purpose of generating required reports.Scheduling sampling with the required contract lab as required by the waste discharge requirements.Responsible for operating and monitoring main control system.Performs Wastewater process control and preventative maintenance/corrective maintenance functions.Adheres to all safety regulationsTrain and assist OITs and additional staff.Employ safe work habits and contribute to a safe work culture, assisting the site safety officer in on site training when required.Responds to emergency or abnormal facility conditions on a paid "on call" rotation and on standby to mobilize other on site personnel as needed.
