I come from a background rooted in communication, teamwork, and leadership. My first jobs were during my senior year of high school where I tutored for local elementary & middle school students, was a ticket usher at the local amphitheater during the summer concert season, and worked retail at the local mall.During my undergraduate studies I was a student lead at the campus bookstore and became the project lead for a study in collaboration with a university overseas. I also participated in UCSD's 31st Annual Undergraduate Research Conference and received the Chancellor’s Interdisciplinary Collaboratory Grant for $3,000 for the research I presented on the study between Autism and Creativity I volunteered on with the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab.Near the end of my undergraduate studies and until the COVID19 shutdown I worked in a preschool as a teacher's aid and earned my Certificate of Proficiency in Child Development and Family Studies.The quiet of the COVID19 shutdown gave me the opportunity to reflect on where life had taken me and where I would go next. I have decided to dedicate my law career to public service.
