A candidate for a Master's in Public Health with a focus in Health Behavior and Health Education as well as Health informatics. Attended University of Michigan for a Bachelor of Art in Cultural Anthropology with a focus on Medical Anthropology. Interested in bridging gaps in healthcare for adolescents and families through both technology, health education, and empowerment of communities. Worked in multiple positions completed intervention design, implementation, and evaluation. I believe that public health is giving everyone equitable access to health care and the resources they need not only to be healthy, but be able to focus on succeeding in other aspects of their life without health being a reason they are held back. Education and the ability to empower communities to better their own health with knowledge, equitable access to resources, and self-efficacy is one of the most important actions that can be completed right now for the betterment of our country and world. It is critical that public health is open to changing with communities and becoming a part of the fabric of them, so that we can learn as well as they can to help improve our entire community's health.
