Growing up in a home where the scent of book pages lingered in the air, my passion for all things lyrical and poetic was nurtured from an early age. I am deeply committed to sharing the magic of words and stories with others, and I continue to find joy in each new chapter of my literary journey.My professional background in the book industry is extensive and diverse. I have sold and reviewed books, managed teams, crafted marketing strategies, purchased products, and developed training materials for the book retail sector. Additionally, I offer freelance social media strategy services, helping small businesses enhance their online presence through creative content marketing.From a very young age, I’ve had a profound passion for books and their stories. My career in bookselling has provided me with a deep understanding of the publishing industry and a genuine appreciation for the power of literature. This passion drives my volunteer work at IBBY South Africa, where I previously headed the Digital Marketing Portfolio and serve on the Events Committee.In my role at Pan Macmillan South Africa, I am excited to further my contributions to the book industry.
