• Facilitates the work of the chapter, creating the chapter’s annual business plan.• Responsible for adjusting programmatic goals in collaboration with the board members. • Presides at all chapter meetings; appoints all chapter committee chairs with the consent and approval of the officers; presents the report covering the activities of the chapter in the previous year at the chapter’s annual membership meeting.• Enforces chapter guidelines; ensures that all books and records are properly kept and that all meetings are appropriately called; and ensures completion of all required reporting (such as submission of the annual reports and annual budgets to UNA-USA).

The UNA-USA Emerging Leaders Fellowship provides professional development to UNA-USA Students and Young Professionals who commit to participating in monthly virtual discussions and leading a local UN Day event. The theme of the fall 2020 Emerging Leadership cohort will be “Celebrating UN 75 on UN Day.”By completing the program, members will be equipped to lead creative UN Day events in their local chapters that celebrate the UN’s 75th anniversary. Participants will also gain professional development skills in design thinking, event-planning, leadership, and communications. All program participants will create a UN Day celebration plan over the course of the Fellowship and present their action plan to the National Office, the fall 2020 cohort participants, and their local UNA-USA chapters.

· Researches and identifies regional specific Businesses, NGO's, Youth/student groups, Government entities, as well as International NGOs to potentially support the work of Humanity Lab Foundation· Collaborates with Director of Partnerships to develop strategies for youth/student engagement that offers mutual value to all parties· Manages outreach process, as directed by Outreach Managers
