As the Event Director for the Long Island Mountain Bike Festival, I oversee every aspect of planning, organizing, and executing the festival to ensure a successful and memorable experience for attendees, vendors, and volunteers. My role involves coordinating with team leads across various areas—from Vendor and Sponsorship Coordinators to Ride Leaders and the Social Media team—to keep everyone aligned with our goals and timeline. I manage communication with park officials, secure necessary permits, and tackle any logistical challenges that arise. As the main point of contact, I’m responsible for developing the event schedule, finalizing the layout, and ensuring that day-of operations run smoothly. My goal is to create a well-organized, safe, and enjoyable festival that celebrates the mountain biking community and leaves a lasting impact on attendees and local businesses alike.
