Senior Manager – Corporate Affairs (August’2018 – Till date) – at Star Cement Limited (Leading cement brand of North East Region). • Acquisition of 125 acres of agricultural land at Nagaon, Assam for setting up a 25 MW Captive Solar Park which includes identification of suitable land with minimum cost, verification of land documents, price negotiation with the land owners, Execution of sale agreement and payment of advance, obtaining NOC from Govt. of Assam, registration of land and final payment and documentation post registration.• Acquisition of 48 acres of agricultural & Govt. land for setting up greenfield project of 2MTPA cement grinding unit at Jalpaiguri, West Bengal which includes identification of suitable land, price negotiation, registration and documentation of the entire land.• Survey and feasibility check for acquisition of limestone mine land area of 375 Ha at Gamalapadu, Hyderabad, TN. • Survey and feasibility check for acquisition of existing cement plant, limestone mine area of 160 acres, pre-feasibility of railway siding at Malkhed, Karnataka. • Survey and feasibility check for acquisition of limestone mine area at Satna and Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. • Acquisition of 9-acres government land through LTL with Govt. of West Bengal.• Conversion and mutation of agricultural and other types of land for industrial use.• Liaison with West Bengal pollution Control Board for obtaining C2E & C2O. • Liaison with West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services for getting FSR and FSC. • Liaison with Dept. of Factories, Govt. of W.B for issuance of provisional & Final factory license & factory plan approval.• Liaison with P&RD & Zilla Parishad for approval of architectural and structural drawings.• Responsible for maintaining co-cordial relationship with key officials of district administration like District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, Local Police Station, District president of ruling political party, INTTUC president, Press and local media etc. to avoid and resolve any issues and maintain favorable work environment for the company.• Responsible to build and maintain cordial relationship with local political leaders, influential people of the community, local clubs & institutions, Trade unions, Worker’s Unions, Transport Associations for quick resolution of any dispute and smooth operation without any stoppage of work.• To protect the land from any encroachment or illegal occupation, updating of all land records, timely payment of land revenues & taxes.
