Managed product marketing department to develop product plans and marketing effort to support sales. Company was private at the time, subsequently went public and then acquired by KLA-Tencor. Products supported the manufacturing of semiconductor substrates and semiconductors, computer disks. Also, developed machinery for non contact metrology and automation. Original position was Product Marketing Manager, for general measurement and disk drive measurement. Developed several new products and restructured product base from custom work to a defined product offering. Opened Eastern European market to the company’s products. Promoted to Director in 1987.
