WHAT A DIFFERENCE A NAME CAN MAKE!In 2006 I Started All Seasons Building Co. - working primarily on Decks, Screened Porches, and remodeling projects. In 2009 we moved our office and added a showroom. After a decline in the building market, I thought we needed to change our focus, so I worked on re-branding the company. It was obvious that our niche had become deck construction. Since the new construction boom had ended, our work had become mostly replacement decks. After advertising for years and realizing that our business name was too generic and difficult for customers to remember, it was time for a change. In a day and age that we receive too much advertising information it was critical that our new name was memorable. Since our business was dealing with "Ugly" decks, it was fitting that our new name would become UglyDeck.com with the tag - Facelift your Ugly Deck. Our new business name along with our unique TV ads featuring my business partner Josh Paden in a duck costume has dramatically changed our business. We increased our sales from 2009 to 2010 by over 31% in 2010 to 2011 by 22%. In 2012 UglyDeck.com increased sales and profit by 29%. From the last year of All Seasons Building Co. in 2009 compared to last year 2012 - Sales have Doubled! In 2014 we had another record breaking year, with almost tripled sales since our re-branding. Our business has diversified by not only installing decks for customers but also supplying and installing for contractors and supplying Do-It-Yourselfers. We also have made agreements with manufacturers and distributors that have given us an advantage to establish ourselves firmly in the deck market.
