As a Tooling Contracts Controller, I work in a team that liaises aircraft tooling buyers worldwide, asset managers and procurement specialists to establish the engineering Aircraft tooling and GSE requirements for the new A321 neo and A350-1000 XLR fleet into the Qantas Group business.Asset life-cycle objectives in order to support the business, retire and sell off old tooling as we continue to retire older aircraft and modernise the aircraft fleet. Negotiate strategies that ensures fit for purpose aircraft assets and tooling for multi aircraft type use , and appropriate levels of commercial value. safety standards andcompliance under Asset Management ISO 55000. Adhere to CASA regulations and follow timelines for "project sunrise" and arrival of the A350-1000 XLG into the business.* Create and justify business cases, execute contracts and (SLAs )service level agreements, develop asset capital investment strategies and control asset maintenance spend, with a focus on ensuring timelines and budgets are achieved.* I work closely with Senior Management to ensure that an appropriate Strategy is established thatsets out how Qantas will deliver value in the short and long term and contribute to the Group Supplierrelationship Management strategy.* Build and justify engineering asset business cases for asset purchases and procurementprocesses.* Build budget forecasts for engineering assets in alignment with national and internationaloperational demands• Build strategies to sell engineering assets and manage aftermarket buyers• Support commercial negotiations and identify new commercial strategies.* Work with technical, commercial and finance management, and through Cross-Functional Teams, providing regular updates to the stakeholders and engineering leaders* Support the creation and management of procurement strategies, analysis data, andundertaking supplier negotiation ensuring appropriate contracts and SLA’s are put in place.
