Bill Brough is a Government Relations Consultant. Previously, Bill served in the California State Assembly from 2014 - 2020 where he was Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Business and Professions and Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Revenue and Taxation. He also sat on the Assembly Committee on Appropriations; Budget; Communications and Conveyance; Governmental Organization; Veterans Affairs; and the Select Committee on Ports. Mr. Brough founded the California Legislative Irish Caucus in 2015, a 501c7 created to foster the cultural, political, and economic ties between California and Ireland.Bill served on the Dana Point City Council from 2010-2014 and operated a government affairs consulting firm from 2005-2014. Bill has served in a variety of capacities including as the White House Liaison at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C. in the Bush Administration and as a Congressional Aide to former Congressman Chris Cox.After high school, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving on active duty from 1986-1990, 1991 then graduated from the University of Connecticut. Bill and his wife live in Dana Point, California with their two children.
