I am excited to announce that I have created a PODCAST SERIES called: "BEST YEAR EVER! OR BUST!" It is a podcast series designed to help UPLIFT, MOTIVATE, and EMPOWER teachers (especially new teachers) to make every year their "Best Year Ever!" by helping to make it their students' "Best Year Ever!" despite any and all challenges they may encounter during the school year. It is available on BUZZSPROUT, SPOTIFY, GOOGLE Podcasts, APPLE MUSIC, I HEART RADIO and several other platforms. They are also available to listen to on my website (bestyearever.net) and on my LinkedIn Group page Best Year Ever!, LLC. I am a recently retired 31-year classroom teacher that is still VERY passionate about our profession and am using my retirement years to continue to help mentor and support fellow teachers--like I had many other amazing colleagues do for me throughout my teaching career. Actually, I have been empowering teachers, pre-service teachers, and other educators, since 2000, using proven classroom management, team building, and effective leadership strategies that increase performance and build successful, dynamic teams--which I eventually shared in my FIRST BOOK called BEST YEAR EVER! WINNING STRATEGIES TO THRIVE IN TODAY'S CLASSROOM. During this time, I realized that not only can many of these techniques and strategies be applied in the classroom, but they can also be used by parents at home as well to help build their children's confidence in themselves, learn to work well with others, and master the three-word success formula to succeed every year in school and life- which is introduced in both books. So, in 2020, I wrote and published my second book (SEVEN WINNING STRATEGIES TO HELP YOUR CHILDREN SUCCEED IN SCHOOL AND LIFE). This little book provides teachers/schools with a powerful tool they can provide to parents to help work together to build a "bridge of support" for their students to help build Success Habits they can use to excel every year in school and throughout their lives. Included in the book is a plan teachers and schools can use to provide each of their student's parents with a FREE COPY at no cost to the school/district.
