I am extremely proud to be a partner with my son Seldom in this new company as we now expand our marine construction operations into Florida. We are now serving the Gulfcoast of Florida from the crystal clear waters of Destin to Panama City on the Emerald Coast and from Port Charlotte on the southwest coast North inland to Punta Gorda on the beautiful Peace River.

Dock Contractors, which I co-own with my son Seldom performs residential and commercial marine construction in the "low country"on the South Carolina coast. We are a South Carolina licensed general contractor as well as S.C. licensed Marine contractor. We construct city piers,community docks, wooden bridges, concrete boat ramps, causeways and shoreline revetments. We install groins and beach erosion prevention structures. We also perform storm related community beach restoration and re-construction along the Atlantic coast as well as installation of intra- coastal waterway navigation pilings, seawalls and groins.We build residential pier heads,walkways and install boat lifts. We construct scenic elevated marsh walkways and wooden bridges for public parks. We co-operate fully and unconditionally with O.C.R.M (South Carolina Ocean and Coastal Resource Management Agency) in the protection of our beautiful yet fragile local environment. All our work takes place in environmentally sensitive areas and each work site is unique. We have trained our men to take the additional time whenever necessary to perform their work in whatever way the particular site requires to make the least possible impact on the fragile coastal wetlands. Our goal is to leave no scars behind us to show that we were ever there. We proudly serve S.C. coastal communities and residents from Mount Pleasant/Charleston south down to Hilton Head.
