After spending 7 years in the Navy and the next 15 years working in Information Technology, I decided to branch out and do something I was really passionate about - build a world-class business. It started out as a hobby, buying homes that needed a little repair, fixing them up and then flipping them. Once I worked with a team to build my first new house, I was hooked. New construction was fantastic until about 2008, when the real estate market went bust and nobody was buying homes anymore. After a couple of years struggling, hoping that the real estate market would turn around, I realized that it was time to reinvent myself. In 2010, I purchased Champia Real Estate Inspections, the first of many companies that would follow. Champia does inspections for residential and commercial real estate agents throughout metro Atlanta, and our focus is on being accessible, accountable, and accurate. But there was a problem. The call centers I outsourced my back-office support to weren’t letting us live up to our focus. They weren’t giving my business and my clients the attention we needed.
